Day One

Kitchen Kettle Village
You can stop at Kitchen Kettle Village, where you can go to the Jam & Relish Kitchen and see right into the kitchen to see how the Jam is made (on days that they're making it). In the morning, enjoy a short drive through the farmland by your lodging to see the beautiful countryside as the farms wake up!

A is for Amish Buggy Ride
Continue your visit with a wonderful ride on an Amish buggy - you will learn all about the world of Amish history and life. Ride through the Amish community, visit Amish farms, and shop for crafts, quilts, and baked goods as you ride in original Amish buggies from A is for Amish Buggy Rides.

Beacon Hollow Farm Amish Guest House
You'll be staying at an Amish working dairy farm nestled in the heart of Amish Country in beautiful Lancaster County. The guest cottage is located within minutes of most major area attractions. Relax and refresh in the quiet cottage, and meet the family while they are doing daily chores in the barn!

Day Two

Bird-in-Hand Restaurant & Smorgasbord
Enjoy breakfast at the Bird-in-Hand Restaurant & Smorgasbord. Select from menus or enjoy the grand smorgasbord, featuring homemade soup, endless salad, freshly-baked bread and cheese, and hot entrees. You can grab delicious desserts here, or head to Dutch Haven, where you'll find one of the best shoo-fly pies you've ever had!

Amish Experience
Take a tour of the Amish Farmlands in comfortable air-conditioned 14-passenger shuttle vans. In addition, tours of Amish Country’s only Lancaster County officially designated Heritage Site Amish House and Amish One-Room School are offered daily. Stay to watch a spectacular special effects, multi-screen production of "Jacob's Choice," where 400 years of Amish culture and tradition come together revealing what it “feels like” to be Amish.

Mennonite Historical Society
Head to the Mennonite Historical Society where you'll experience the material beauty wrought by Lancaster County’s “plain people” through the acclaimed museum exhibit of antique furniture, fraktur, needlework and quilts.

Day Three

The Amish Village
In the morning, take a tour at the Amish Village - an educational guided tour through an 1840's farm house, furnished as a typical Old Order Amish house. Grounds include a barn with farm animals, an operating water wheel, a smoke house with PA Dutch foods, a blacksmith shop with tools of the smithy's trade, a village gift shop & picnic area after tour.

Hershey Farm Restaurant's Grand Smorgasbord
For lunch, Hershey Farm Restaurant's Grand Smorgasbord features hand crafted meats, rotisserie chicken, original PA Dutch recipes including golden fried chicken, delicious ham balls, Amish stuffing, fresh vegetables, homemade mashed potatoes, hand rolled soft pretzels, and much more. Be sure to leave room for Hershey Farm's signature whoopie pies!

Strasburg Country Store & Creamery
Next head to the Strasburg Country Store & Creamery, located on the square in the historic village of Strasburg.  Experience the aroma of homemade waffle cones sizzling on the hot irons and sample some homemade fudge as you watch it being made on their 750 pound marble slab.
