Lancaster County Fall Festivals and Fairs

The 2013 Fall Festivals & Fairs season in Lancaster, PA has ended. 2014 Fall Festival & Fairs will be posted in August 2014.

Nothing beats celebrating the harvest in Lancaster County with a good ol' fashioned county fair or festival. There's no better way to spend a fall day than strolling down the midway with a caramel apple in hand.

With so many festivals and events throughout PA Dutch Country, why not stay a few days more an experience all the things to do, fantastic dining, and sure-fire entertainment we have to offer?

Ephrata Fair
September 24 - 28
Started in 1919, the Ephrata Fair is the largest street fair in Pennsylvania! It's a time for folks to reacquaint with old friends, indulge in their favorite fair foods, browse the many exhibits and enjoy the variety of concessions, games and rides.

West Lampeter Community Fair
September 26 - 28
This three-day event provide friendly competition among neighbors and a wholesome, educational atmosphere for all ages. Farmers and small gardeners can compare their produce at one central location. Children can learn to apprecaite quality food products and farm animals. The youth program is especially designed to encourage both boys and girls to exhibit in all categories of baking, canning, cooking, art, sewing, fruits, vegetables, plants and animals. Come to the Fair! Meet the locals, taste the food and enjoy the wholesome entertainment.

New Holland Farmer's Fair
October 2 - 5
Every year the streets of New Holland close to traffic and the center of town transforms into a celebration of farm and community. The crisp autumn air is sweetened with funnel cake, hot cinnamon rolls, and cotton candy. Laughter rings out and dazzling lights shine on the midway filled with thrilling rides and games of chance. The four day event kicks off with the Spectacle of Bands Parade Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. where excitement and attendance is at its peak. There is something for everyone throughout the week including an FFA tractor driving contest and a Swine and Sheep Show and Sale at the New Holland Sales Stables. The Tug-of-War and Pedal Power take place on Franklin Street. A Bake Sale and Kid's Day are held in the ambulance parking lot. The New Holland Farmer's Fair, known to many as "Farm Show", has been around for over 75 years.

Manheim Community Farm Show
October 7 - 11
The Manheim Community Farm Show exists to promote agriculture, crafts and competition in a friendly environment that encourages family values and cooperation. We have chosen to keep the policy of free admission and free registration for all exhibits. We do not have games of chance as many fairs do, to provide operating revenues. Lanchester Harvest Festival and Car Show
October 12
Enjoy Native American drumming and dancing, vendors, food, kids activities, jack-o-lantern contest, art contest, poetry contest, raffles and more! This event benefits Vietnam Veterans.

Annual Harvest Days
October 12 - 13
Landis Valley's biggest and oldest event, Harvest Days is a culmination of a year's worth of hard work with demonstrations, crafts, wagon rides, and food to immerse yourself in Pennsylvania German traditions.
