Water Activities in Lancaster County

The Susquehanna River is an excellent spot for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and boating. You'll want to explore the river's quiet beauty, learn about her resources and the history and culture of our river towns from a series of riverside interpretive panels. Scattered along a 53-mile span from the Mason-Dixon Line to Harrisburg, the Susquehanna Water Trail has placed these panels to allow visitors to better understand the natural, cultural or historic events and resources of the river.

Couple these panels with the Susquehanna River Water Trail Map & Guide - Lower Section (click here to purchase) and you'll have the best ways to learn about and experience the river. Included are three full-color maps of the river in the 53-mile area, featuring informative text and beautiful photography of resources found in this section of the river. The map & guide are printed on waterproof, tear-resistant paper and come in a resealable waterproof vinyl envelope.
