History of the Amish Meal
Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn
Enjoy an Amish wedding feast and meet Mrs. Lena Esh, a local Mennonite woman. Try some of her recipes while she talks and answers questions about the Amish way of life. Tuesday - Friday.

Cooking Demonstration
Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn
Make our famous whoopie pies and delicious shoo-fly pie. Volunteers from the group will help with the demonstration. Everyone in the group will get a delicious treat to take home! Tuesday - Friday.

HERSHEY®'S Girl Scout Local Lore Badge Day
Hershey's Chocolate World
A 3-hour program for Junior Girl Scouts. All materials are provided; just bring Junior Girls looking to have a fun, educational, chocolate-inspired experience! Lunch options available to add on. Select weekends

HERSHEY®'S Behind-the-Scenes Educational Tours
Hershey's Chocolate World
Perfect for students of all grade levels! Pennsylvania Act 48 credits awarded to all teachers in attendance. Approximately 2 hours.

Savor the Flavor Challenge Student Group Experience
Kitchen Kettle Village
A fast-paced workshop filled with nutrition, quizzing and tasting. Challenging and fun! Designed to give students grades 3-12 a healthy and savory educational experience. Reservations required. Monday - Friday year-round.

Cannin' & Jammin' Group Experience
Kitchen Kettle Village
Learn the difference between a jelly, jam and preserve. Participants will learn about the canning process, and are invited to take part in a cooking demo (with tasting of course). Available exclusively to groups. Reservations required. Monday - Friday, year-round.

Custom Event on the First-Class Parlor Car
Strasburg Rail Road
Treat your group to an event aboard the first-class Parlor Car. Light fare, bar service and other refreshments available. For groups of about 30. Year-round.

President's Car
Strasburg Rail Road
Dine on a selection of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and desserts while savoring select wines, fresh lemonade, tea or coffee. Seats about 14 adults. Must be 21 years of age. Mid-day train July and August or by special charter. Air conditioned.

Apprentice Yourself to a Farmer
Farmland Fun at Verdant View Farm B&B
Be a farmer's apprentice for an hour or two on a real working farm. Milk a cow, make preserves, feed the animals, learn quilting and plant/harvest some crops! April - November.

The Artist Encounter
Miller's Smorgasbord
Meet an Amish painter at Wenger Gallery to discuss technique and ask questions of their craft. Or, meet with a local quilter at The Quilt Shop and gain an appreciation for the techniques used by a truly talented artisan. Wenger Gallery and The Quilt Shop are located at Miller's, Lancaster's Original Smorgasbord. Both complimentary options require reservations and are 30 minutes in length.
