Escape from the stress of a fast-paced life and linger in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, where there's no fast lane. Choose to "get lost" on your own or try one of our road trips or sample itineraries.
The names alone often get a second glance – dried corn, whoopie pies, schnitz und knepp – but these unusual delicacies are an everyday affair in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Made from scratch with tender loving care, treats like apple dumplings and shoofly pie are staples in local bakeries, and no Pennsylvania Dutch restaurant is complete without an offer of chicken pot pie and a side of chow chow!
