The British Invasion
It's etched in our memories forever... "Ladies and Gentlemen, The Beatles." Adoring girls screamed, rebellious boys grew mop tops and parents cringed as the British took over rock and roll. Relive the biggest movement in pop music history with tributes to bands like The Beatles and Rolling Stones, and singers like Dusty Springfield and Tom Jones. Enjoy a visit from an international man of mystery and everyone’s favorite British nanny! And find out once and for all if that deaf, dumb and blind kid really can play a mean pinball… There has been nothing like it before or since. Come experience the British Invasion!

Classic Crooners
Before the packaging, before the polish and before MTV, there were those suave gentlemen and sophisticated ladies that defined musical cool. They were Crooners. This show celebrates all the iconic songsters like Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. We’ll take you on a musical journey from the infamous evenings when The Rat Pack owned Las Vegas, through classic routines from Fred Astaire and Abbott & Costello, and on to the contemporary sounds of Buble and beyond! They had the looks, the voices and the bands to boot... and so does AMT with a smokin’ hot orchestra that would make Tommy Dorsey proud. Relax and remember the smooth sounds, the larger than life entertainers, the Classic Crooners!

The 2008 Christmas Show
Tis’ the season for a brand-new holiday extravaganza at American Music Theatre! You’ll hear your favorite Christmas standards interpreted by our awe-inspiring cast of singers and groovin’ live orchestra.  From the plaintive strains of a Celtic fiddle, to the seasonal sounds of Josh Groban, Toby Keith, and Bette Midler—we’ll have you humming along with your favorite hymns and tapping your feet to a rockin’ holiday beat.  The crowning of the Christmas Queen, a super-fantastical telling of Shelly’s Christmas Fairy Tale, and a massive Jingle Bells medley that you’ll have to hear to believe will make this a holiday season you’ll never forget.  Join in Central PA’s favorite holiday tradition: The Christmas Show at American Music Theatre!
