Come explore where today touches history at one of the area's most authentic Amish sites! Visit The Amish Farm & House to learn about Lancaster County's Old Order Amish. Tour our historic 1805 farmhouse which was last occupied by an Amish family. Your highly-knowledgeable guide will explain the Amish history, clothing, customs and culture as you see the various rooms of the home. Learn the reasons and the "whys" behind many of their traditions.

Afterwards, wander our 15-acre farm that was part of a 1715 land grant from William Penn. Follow the walking paths as you see a wide variety of farm animals-sheep, cows, chickens, goats, donkeys, miniature horse and many more! Step into our historic barns and exhibits including an authentic tobacco stripping room and an original blacksmith shop. Be sure to check out the Willow Lane One-Room Schoolhouse, located right here on our property. It's the area's only school designed and opened for the public!

Stop to see our resident demonstrators. Visit Chris, the nationally-known woodcarver, who turns simple tree branches into unique wooden roosters. Wander into the quit shop and watch the resident quilter as she works on her unique creations.

Countryside bus tours are available through picturesque Lancaster County. Visit our separate listing for more information!
