Nestled in the heart of Christiana, Freedom Chapel Dinner Theatre is the hottest, new attraction in Lancaster County! Showcasing both original plays and well-known Broadway hits, Freedom Chapel Dinner Theatre opened its doors in April 2003 with The Christiana Treason Trials of 1851. Known nationally for "The Christiana Riot" that took place on September 11, 1851, the unassuming town of Christiana along with the ambiance of the restored, 19th century chapel provides the perfect backdrop for this historical reenactment. "We felt like we were in the courtroom. The scenery, chairs, clothing...everything was actually like it was back in the 1850's!"
Before the show, enjoy delectable, elegant dining in a relaxing, family-oriented atmosphere. As a valued guest of Freedom Chapel Dinner Theatre, you will be served at your table with a hot, homemade, delicious meal with hearty portions and a scrumptious dessert. "The meal was unbelievable! We would come here to eat even if there wasn't a show. We'll be back!" "This is the best food I've ever had in Lancaster County!"
