The Red Caboose is Lancaster County's most unusual motel, restaurant and gift shop. Sleep in a restored 25-ton caboose and wake up in the heart of Amish farms. Listen to and watch the Strasburg Rail Road's steam engines go right buy. Buggy rides on premise along with a restaurant and gift shop. Children of all ages will love our petty zoo complete with feed dispenser and a washing station for your safety. Your children will enjoy playing in our new playground next to the barn and view tower. Shaded picnic area also available.

Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in a genuine dining car at the Red Caboose Restaurant. We serve the best of real country cooking! The restaurant is open from 8AM until 8PM seven days a week in season. Call for hours of operation.

Amenities include cable TV, microwave, refrigerators, air conditioning, and private baths. Our cabooses sleep anywhere from 1 to 10 people. Handicap accessible.
