Big Chiques Creek

Built by James C. Carpenter in 1885 for $1872 and known as Michael Moore’s Mill Bridge.  The name changed when the Siegrist family purchased the mill in 1895.  Location:  1/2 mile north of Highway 23 (Marietta Pike) and Prospect Road on Siegrist Road (1/2 mile west) in West Hempfield Township.  Be sure to visit nearby Forry’s Mill Covered Bridge.
