White Rock Forge Covered Bridge

Originally built by John Russell in 1847 (cost not known). Rebuilt by Elias McMellen in 1884 for $2167. It is the county’s second oldest covered bridge still open to traffic. Location: 3/4 mile south of Noble Road on White Rock Road in Colerain Township about 51/2 miles southeast of Quarryville.
