This informative museum, presented by the Columbia Historic Preservation Society, includes a 1,000 square foot HO train display, artwork from local artists, Civil War documents, lectures, a Christmas Open House, events such as our train show, an antique craft show and every fourth Friday of the month, Music at the Museum - live music presentations featuring a variety of musical styles.
Our 2012 feature display is "Arts and Entertainment of Columbia" covering the history of our four Columbia movie theaters and the Columbia opera house. This display includes artifacts from the original venues including the original piano from the Columbia opera house to play bills and programs from featured events from all locations.

Hours of operation are Sundays from 1 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM every fourth Friday (Music at the Museum). Also during the month of October we offer lectures from local historians and in December we host Christmas Open House.
