Kauffman's Fruit Farm & Market, situated along a AAA-Designated Scenic Byway (the Old Philadelphia Pike just outside of Bird-in-Hand), offers a cornucopia of local fruits and produce in season, plus ingredients of all kinds for tasty creations ranging from apple crisp to meatloaf. It's not just our high-quality homegrown apples and peaches.... visitors give rave comments about our huge Bulk Food selection, and the locals almost get addicted to our award-winning, homemade Sweet Apple Cider, which, we're proud to report, was voted #1 at the 2010 Mid-Atlantic Fruit & Vegetable Convention. For the foodies, we have a deli section featuring Dutch Country-style meats, cheeses, and deli items (like homemade Potato Salad... good stuff!). Come looking to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with friendly employees who themselves are locals and know the culture. You won't want to leave without buying some of our famous apple dumplings, and during the weekends in the summer and fall we fry up our own apple-cider donuts right outside!
