Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market

Experience freshly-baked Pennsylvania Dutch soft pretzels or right-from-the-farm produce and preserves, all in a quaint setting with Amish buggies passing by. A wonderful place to find those special Pennsylvania Dutch delicacies and treats or unique handcrafted items.

Lancaster Central Market

Continuously operated since 1730, this downtown Lancaster landmark is the nation’s oldest publicly owned farmers’ market. The family-run stands featuring farm-fresh meats and produce have been here for generations, and today, they’re joined by an international whirlwind of tastes that give Central Market a character like no other. Just as impressive is the unique Romanesque revival architecture of the 1880s Market House—a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

Cherry Hill Orchards

At this locally-owned farm market, you can make your choice—head to the orchards to pick your very own fresh fruits right off the trees, or choose from ready-picked items that are just right for a quick stop. You’ll also find a wide variety of fruit baskets, lawn ornaments, seeds, and gardening items, as well as seasonal plants and flowers in the greenhouse.

Country Barn Farm Market

Green Dragon Farmers Market & Auction

“If you can’t buy it at the Green Dragon, it chust ain’t fer sale!” That’s what locals say about this enormous market and auction, which opens every Friday for thousands of visitors to find tasty treats, crafts, and even designer-inspired bargains. More than 400 growers, merchants, and craftsmen present their wares each week—shop indoors or out for just about anything you can imagine!
