(Lancaster, Pa.) The Pennsylvania Dutch Convention & Visitors Bureau (PA Dutch CVB) today announced the appointment of Lancaster Barnstormers general manager Vince Bulik to its 2009 Board of Directors. The board is comprised of professional tourism partners that govern the organization and ensure it is consistently aligned with its mission to promote and grow visitation to Lancaster County.
Bulik has been with the Barnstormers since their inception, initially joining the team in 2004 as director of corporate partnerships. Prior to signing on with the club, he was director of marketing and sales for the Brooklyn Cyclones when baseball returned to the historic New York borough in 2000. Previously, the Harrisburg native served as the Senators director of ticket operations from the club’s inaugural season in 1987. Bulik graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 1988 with a bachelor’s in business.
“We’re very excited to have Vince join our board,” said Chris Barrett, president and CEO of the PA Dutch CVB. “He truly understands the value of a great guest experience, and we look forward to benefiting from his business insights and leadership skills.”
