Visiting in Fall
Explore Historic Downtown Lancaster
Lancaster City is situated in the center of Lancaster County, and its seven square miles are packed with art, museums, historical attractions, restaurants and cafes, theatres, shops and boutiques. Take a day to explore it all.?
Try seeing the countryside this way
For an extremely affordable price, you can rent bicycles, scooters, and motorcycle for up to a day. If it’s your first time driving a scooter – come on Sunday and spend as much time as you’d like practicing in the parking lot before heading out on the back roads.
Made by hand (and passion)
With about 35 talented artists and three locations, Eldreth Pottery is a renowned name in the pottery business showcasing creativity in salt glaze, redware, and stoneware. They're known for many different items and varying styles sure to fit everybody's tastes.
Roadside Stands & Local Farmers
One of the things I love about Lancaster County are the roadside farm markets. They’re all over the place. Sometime I’ll stop and simply get a homemade whoopie pie for less than a dollar. That’s right - less than a dollar!
