Spring in bloom at Longwood Gardens
The tulips and daffodils were in full bloom as we walked through the Flower Garden Walk towards the treehouse on the lake. The boys enjoyed the intricate shapes of the topiaries and exploring the nooks and crannies of the various Nature's Castles Treehouses.
A day of Hersheypark thrills
Now that my children are teenagers and self-proclaimed thrill seekers, a visit to nearby Hersheypark – with its 11 exciting roller coasters and expansive waterpark – was in order.
A great day trip for the whole family
We saw two pristine ponds of immaculately clear water, stalactites and stalagmites, interesting geological features, large rooms with high rock ceilings, and 150-year-old graffiti. We experienced the pitch blackness of the caverns and learned about a man who lived in the caverns for 19 years.
